Zaros
Der Ort Zaros befindet sich in etwa 470 Metern Höhe, ca. 45 km entfernt von Heraktion. Von Mires führt eine beschilderte Strasse hinauf. Einmalig in Zaros ist der angelegter Süßwasser-See, sowie die Forellenzucht. Naturliebhaber und Wanderfreunde kommen hier besonders auf Ihre Kosten. Es gibt viele Wanderwege (zB zur bekannten Rouvas-Schlucht) und auch Klöster zu besichtigen.
